Our installers are accredited with the City & Guilds 2919 Electric Vehicle Equipment Installation qualification along with many years experience in the Electrical industry. Who are OLEV?
The Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) is a team working across government to support the early market for ultra-low emission vehicles (ULEV). We are providing over £900 million to position the UK at the global forefront of ULEV development, manufacture and use. This will contribute to economic growth and will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution on our roads.

What is the OLEV Grant Scheme?
The Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) provides grant funding of up to 75% towards the cost of installing electric vehicle chargepoints at domestic properties across the UK.

Who can claim the OLEV Grant Scheme?
You can claim one charger per eligible vehicle and up to two charging points per household.


Vehicles which are eligible for the OLEV Grant?
Available for most electric cars and plug-in hybrid cars. however to qualify for the OLEV Grant, you need to have purchased an eligible electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle from 1st April 2015 onwards.

  1. You must have off-street parking.

  2. You must use an OLEV-approved home charging point installer.
